More Life – The Bank, Birmingham

We were commissioned to deliver full technical production for More Life, with one clear goal: create a sleek, club-inspired atmosphere that matched the energy and emotion of the celebration — and looked just as strong on camera as it did in the room. The client needed a complete package covering LED visuals, lighting, and audio, with a stage design that felt intentional rather than “set up and hope for the best.” Visually, the brief was to build a bold focal point around the DJ performance area using a Glowshine LED feature and a custom LED DJ booth, supported by three vertical LED struts (18 LED panels arranged in a V-shape) to give the room depth, symmetry, and a proper “show” presence. Lighting needed to bring movement and rhythm without overwhelming the LED content — using moving washes for coverage and atmosphere, and strobe/pixel-style hits to punctuate key transitions and peak moments. On the audio side, the expectation was premium clarity and balanced coverage using an RCF sound system, ensuring consistent impact across the venue (not just “loud at the front, quiet at the back”). In short: deliver a cohesive, high-energy production where visuals, lighting, and sound moved as one — immersive, reliable, and fully in the spirit of More Life.

Gaucho Manchester (New Year’s Day 2026)

We were commissioned to deliver full technical production for New Year’s Day at Gaucho Manchester, with a brief that sounds simple… right up until you’re standing in the middle of a packed, chandelier-filled restaurant-turned-nightclub: keep it clean, keep it classy, but still bring the energy. The client wanted a “simple but effects” setup — not an overbuilt festival rig, but definitely not “two lights and a prayer” either. Gaucho is a premium venue with balcony sightlines, ornate features, and a room layout that everyone can see from everywhere, so the challenge was building a club-style atmosphere that felt intentional and elevated without overpowering the space (or accidentally lighting up the chandeliers like it’s a museum tour). The requirement covered sound, lighting, and a pro DJ setup, designed to work for a busy crowd and look strong on camera from every angle — especially from the balcony, where the whole room is basically one big content shot. Audio needed to be powerful but controlled, delivered via an RCF line-array system (8 elements) with four double-18” subs in cardioid, keeping the low-end tight and focused rather than spilling everywhere. Lighting needed to create movement, rhythm, and peak-time punch — while still keeping the overall look polished and venue-appropriate. In short: a “simple” setup done properly — clean execution, controlled effects, proper sound, and a room that looked as good as it felt.

Patchbay 2025 – Hilton Liverpool

On paper, the brief sounded simple: make the stage look unreal, keep it rock-solid, and make it feel like a proper show. In reality, that meant delivering high-impact visuals in a hotel venue — with the usual real-world constraints like tight load-in windows, limited rigging flexibility, and the need to keep everything clean, safe, and venue-friendly. The client needed a setup that could handle branded visuals, dynamic motion content, and the option for live camera feeds — while looking sharp from every angle in the room (and even sharper on camera). The challenge wasn’t just installing screens and lighting; it was creating a stage environment that felt designed, not “dropped in,” and that stayed reliable throughout the night. The other key factor was balance. LED walls bring serious presence, but they can overpower a space — or get undermined if lighting isn’t planned properly. The goal was a cohesive look where lighting supported the screen content, transitions felt intentional, and the whole room stayed in the same visual rhythm. In short: maximum impact, zero drama — and a setup that looked premium in the room and in the content afterwards.

Celebration of Life – The New Bingley Hall

We were brought in to provide full technical production for a memorial service, with one clear priority: deliver a setup that felt respectful, calm, and supportive, while still ensuring every guest could clearly see and hear the tributes throughout the room. The client needed a strong visual centrepiece to display personalised imagery, messages, and tribute content in a way that felt meaningful — not distracting. The brief called for a Glowshine LED package (a 4m x 3m main wall with two 1m x 3m split columns) to create a clean, balanced backdrop that would work from every viewing angle. Lighting needed to be present, but subtle — adding warmth and atmosphere without overpowering the service. Audio was equally critical: the venue required a system capable of delivering consistent clarity for both spoken word and music, using a full-scale PA (12 line-array elements and four double 18” subs) tuned for even coverage rather than excessive volume. In short, the challenge was to combine LED visuals, lighting, and audio into one seamless system that enhanced the experience with care and precision — creating a heartfelt environment where family and friends could come together to honour and celebrate a life well-lived.
